Charlotte Christian's loss came despite strong showings from Kayla Lee and Sophia Fair. Lee dropped a double-double on 11 points and ten rebounds, while Fair scored four points. It was the first time this season that Lee pulled down eight or more rebounds.
Charlotte Latin's win bumped their record up to 12-10. As for Charlotte Christian, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-14 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Charlotte Latin will take on Cannon at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Cannon will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something Charlotte Latin surely won't give up without a fight.
