Hampton strolled into their game on Monday with a perfect record and they left with the same. They came out on top against the Manor Mustangs by a score of 12-8. The Crabbers' hitters stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most runs they've scored all season.

Hampton got a massive performance out of Jaycob Flores, who went 2-for-3 with four stolen bases, three runs, and one triple. Another player making a difference was Ashton Green, who got on base in all four of his plate appearances with five stolen bases and two runs.

Hampton was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Manor only posted a batting average of .217.

Hampton pushed their record up to 9-0 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home. As for Manor, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hampton will challenge Phoebus at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Phantoms have struggled to contain batters this season (they've allowed 9.88 runs per game on average), something the Crabbers will no doubt try to take advantage of. As for Manor, they will head out on the road to square off against Norcom at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
