It was a good run, but St. Francis unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Tuesday. They were dealt a 75-45 loss at the hands of the St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute Marauders. The match marked the Red Raiders' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Despite the loss, St. Francis still got an impressive performance from Andrew Lindstrom, who went 6 for 11 en route to 15 points. Lindstrom has been hot recently, having also posted two or more steals the last three times he's played. Sal Giardina was another key player, putting up nine points.

Leading St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute to victory were Jaymeir Goosby and Nate Blenman. Goosby went 8 of 15 on his way to 17 points and five steals, while Blenman dropped a double-double on 13 points and ten rebounds. Kal Gunther also deserves some recognition as he scored his first points of the season.

St. Francis' defeat ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 5-2. As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, their record is now 7-2.

St. Francis has already played their next game, a 72-59 loss against St. Mary's on the 10th. As for St. Joseph's Collegiate Institute, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, an 80-70 win against Bishop Timon-St. Jude on the 10th.
