The Bellevue Broncos will be playing at home against the Kellogg Panthers at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Bellevue will be strutting in after a victory while Kellogg will be coming in after a loss.
Bellevue had to kick off their season on the road on Wednesday, but they showed no ill effects. They took down Phoenix 61-46.
Meanwhile, Kellogg couldn't capitalize on their home-court advantage in their season opener. They fell 55-48 to Maple Valley on Tuesday. Kellogg has struggled against Maple Valley recently, as their matchup on Tuesday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the defeat, Kellogg had strong showings from Hugo Martino, who scored 8 points along with 11 rebounds and 5 blocks, and Grant McArthur, who scored 14 points along with 5 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Howland, who scored 13 points along with 5 rebounds.
Bellevue's win bumped their record up to 1-0. As for Kellogg, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.
