Harrisonburg's loss shouldn't obscure the performances of Ryan Fuqua, who scored 17 points along with 8 rebounds and 5 steals, and Laine Dupuis who scored 9 points along with 10 rebounds and 5 steals. Fuqua scored a full 40.5% of Harrisonburg's points, the second time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Montgomery's win bumped their record up to 1-4. As for Harrisonburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 4-4.
Montgomery will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Buckeye at 6:00 p.m. Buckeye will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line. As for Harrisonburg, they will head out on the road to face off against Grant at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Louisiana (Grant is ranked 194th, while Harrisonburg is ranked 210th).
