When it comes to explaining why Kirtland Central lost, one person who can't be blamed is Tyler Joe. Despite the final result, he scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Joe has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Shamus Hogue, who scored 18 points.
Gallup has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games, which provided a massive bump to their 8-10 record this season. As for Kirtland Central, they now have a losing record at 9-10.
Gallup will head out on the road to square off against Miyamura at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Gallup is facing Miyamura at the right time seeing as Miyamura is stuck on a 18-game losing streak. As for Kirtland Central, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against Shiprock at 7:00 p.m. Kirtland Central has insisted on making their lastthree contests complete nail-biters, turning in a record of 2-1 during that stretch of close contests.
