Alma won the last time they faced Kenesaw and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Alma Cardinals enjoyed a cozy 42-24 win over the Kenesaw Blue Devils. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cardinals.

Alma's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Chayse Molzahn led the charge by putting up eight points and seven rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Tierston Moore, who posted six points in addition to seven steals and six boards.

Kenesaw's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sophia Schukei, who almost dropped a double-double with nine points and 11 rebounds, and Avery Kelley, who scored five points and three steals. Those 11 boards gave Schukei a new career-high.

Alma's record is now 19-5. As for Kenesaw, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost four of their last five contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.

Alma didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 53-42 loss against Elm Creek on the 20th. Kenesaw does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
