Nease is 0-4 against Providence School since December of 2014 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. Nease posted their biggest win since December 28, 2023 on Friday. They put the hurt on Bolles with a sharp 56-35 win.
Nease's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bryson Utter, who scored 16 points along with five assists. Utter has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Sullivan, who scored 16 points.
Meanwhile, Providence School waltzed into their game on Saturday with five straight wins but they left with six. They took down Archbishop McCarthy 56-38.
Nease's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Providence School, they are on a roll lately: they've won ten of their last 11 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 15-5 record this season.
Nease suffered a grim 51-30 defeat to Providence School in their previous matchup back in January of 2023. Can Nease avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
