It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Wall had no problem doing just that on Friday. Wall pushed their record up to 23-7 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Florence, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-12 record this season.
