Neshoba Central had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They blew past the Center Hill Mustangs 13-5 on Thursday. The Rockets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 12 games by six runs or more this season.

The win was the fifth in a row for Neshoba Central, bringing their record up to 18-7. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.4 runs over those games. As for Center Hill, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-15.

Neshoba Central will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Mustangs: the pair will be back at it again later today.
