Baseball Recap: Osbourn Park's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Osbourn Park entered their tilt with Osbourn on Friday with two consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with three. They blew past the Eagles 12-2. That's two games straight that the Yellowjackets have won by exactly ten runs.

Tyler Mills was a major factor while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off four hits (and not a single walk). Mills was also solid in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

In other batting news, Tyler Merryman and Chase Allen did most of the damage at the plate: Merryman scored a run while going 2-for-4, while Allen scored two runs while going 2-for-2. Allen also hit a double, marking his first of the season. Bobby Shearin was another key player, scoring a run while going 2-for-3.

Osbourn Park was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .500. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Osbourn only posted a batting average of .250.

Osbourn Park's record now sits at 4-2. As for Osbourn, they dropped their record down to 0-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road.
