It was a good run, but Onaga unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-match winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Wabaunsee Chargers by a score of 2-1. Surprisingly, this marked the Buffaloes' fourth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

In a back-and-forth that saw neither team win consecutive sets, Onaga sadly dropped the once that decided the match. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 19-25, 25-19.

Despite the loss, Onaga saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Avery Boswell had ten digs and three assists.

Onaga's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Wabaunsee, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 21-5.

Onaga has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Centralia on the 7th. As for Wabaunsee, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Mission Valley on the 7th.
