It may have taken extra minutes to finish the job, but Early College ultimately got the result they hoped for on Monday. They skirted past the Seaford Bluejays 2-1. Early College haven't had any issues with Seaford recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Madison Gordon and Alayjah Wanzer scored both of Early College's goals, bringing their combined season tally to five goals.

Early College now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Seaford, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-6.

Early College will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Caravel Academy at 4:00 p.m. on the 28th. As for Seaford, they will host Lake Forest at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Lake Forest will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something Seaford surely won't give up without a fight.
