The Columbia Blue Devils will be playing at home against the Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake Spartans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Columbia knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake likes a good challenge.
Last Friday, Columbia strolled past Colonie Central with points to spare, taking the game 61-47.
Alivia Landy was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 24 points and 11 rebounds. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Columbia's points. Another player making a difference was Sarah Rainville, who scored 14 points.
Meanwhile, Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake faced Averill Park in a battle between two of the state's top teams. Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake took a serious blow against Averill Park on Friday, falling 75-26.
