Jayden Lombardi made a splash while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over four innings pitched. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up a single earned run in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.
In other batting news, David Strickland was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, four RBI, and one double. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2024. Jake Cronin was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Tuesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Atlantic has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.9 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Matanzas struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.9 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
