Wilson Wemhoff put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in March on Wednesday. As a matter of fact, he produced his best game of the campaign: he struck out nine batters over five innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

Looking ahead, Wemhoff and Hampshire will square off against Huntley at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Wemhoff had to take a loss the last time the two teams duked it out, losing their match back in April of 2024 11-6.
