Kellen Ball was his usual excellent self, going 8 for 15 on his way to 22 points. He has been hot, having also posted two or more steals the last five times he's played. Another player making a difference was Andrew Schams, who went 6 of 10 en route to 14 points and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Liberty Common played a tough matchup on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 73-52 to Strasburg. The defeat continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Indians: they've now lost five in a row.
Windsor Charter Academy will have to keep a close watch on Pierce Richardson and Dylan Novick, a pair of players who had a big impact on Liberty Common's prior game. Richardson went 5 for 12 on his way to 19 points and seven boards, while Novick posted seven points. That was a full 36.5% of Liberty Common's points, marking the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. Colton Lipsey was another key player, putting up three points and three steals.
Even though they lost, Liberty Common smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in seven consecutive games.

Some high-performance offense is likely on the agenda as the two teams are some of the highest scoring teams in the league. Windsor Charter Academy hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having averaged 71.2 points per game. However, it's not like Liberty Common struggles in that department as they've been averaging 61.1 points. With both teams so easily able to put up points, the only question left is who can run the score up higher.
Windsor Charter Academy didn't have too much breathing room in their contest against Liberty Common in their previous matchup back in December of 2023, but they still walked away with a 57-51 victory. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Richardson, who went 10 of 20 en route to 21 points and six steals. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Windsor Charter Academy still be able to contain Richardson? There's only one way to find out.
