Seton Hall Prep extended the longest winning streak in Super Essex - American this week by beating West Orange, 38-14. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
East Orange Campus took down Columbia 53-26 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Seton Hall Prep's Peter Burkly and Clay Austin have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Burkly has thrown for 597 yards this season, while Austin, a 5-foot-11 receiver, has 12 catches for 294 yards. Montclair's Michael Million leads the league in rushing yards with 741.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when the Cougars take on John Finnegan's team. Columbia is in fourth place, while the Pirates are in first place.
The Jaguars led Super Essex - American in scoring this week after putting up 53 points on Dave Curtin's team.
