Football Recap: Jay Has No Trouble Against Lane

Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jay). They were the clear victors by a 34-8 margin over the Lane Knights on Friday. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest victory of the season.

The win made it two in a row for Jay and bumps their season record up to 3-2. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 30.0 points over those games. As for Lane, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Jay is set to square off against their familiar foe Cardozo at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Lane will face off against rival McKee Vo-Tech/Staten Island Tech on Saturday.
