Basketball Recap: Make It Eight in a Row for Dietrich

Dietrich extended their winning streak to eight games thanks to a huge performance from Connor Perkins. The Dietrich Blue Devils were the clear victor by a 91-69 margin over the Glenns Ferry Pilots on Friday thanks in part to Perkins, who went 12 for 26 on his way to 31 points in addition to eight rebounds and six assists. His evening made it eight games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Dietrich pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.9 points per game. As for Glenns Ferry, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Dietrich will challenge Carey at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Dietrich has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games. As for Glenns Ferry, they will face off against Camas County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Glenns Ferry is facing Camas County at the right time seeing as Camas County is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
