Congratulations to this week's top players! We're covering the best performances from Thursday's football action (using all statistics entered as of the time of writing). Enjoy!
Aubrey Stewart Delivers Best Effort of Season
On Thursday, Fairfield got the W thanks in part to Aubrey Stewart playing the best football she has all season. Stewart rushed for 123 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of her passes. The performance marked the most rushing yards she has had since back in September. She has become a key player for Fairfield: the team is undefeated when she posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 3-4 otherwise.
Unfortunately for Burbank, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Stewart. Stewart rushed for 127 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries, and also threw for 183 yards and two touchdowns the last time she and the Titans duked it out back in September.
