Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask St. Francis Borgia). They never let the Hermann Bearcats get on the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Tuesday. The win continues a trend for the Knights in their matchups with the Bearcats: they've now won seven in a row.

Not much got past Jayce Keeler, who gave up just a hit to keep Hermann off the board. Keeler also tossed no earned runs, which is notable because St. Francis Borgia is undefeated when he allows at most one earned run, but 10-12 otherwise.

At the plate, Braxtyn Frankenberg was a standout: he went a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Drew Eckhoff, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with four runs and one double.

St. Francis Borgia always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .538. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

St. Francis Borgia now has a winning record of 13-12. As for Hermann, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-12.
