Tecumseh kept up with Bethany until halftime on Friday, but afterwards: not so much. The Bronchos blew past the Savages 49-28. The win continues a trend for the Bronchos in their matchups with the Savages: they've now won eight in a row.

Bethany's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brody McLaren, who rushed for 80 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries, and also threw for 206 yards and one TD while completing 76.9% of his passes. McLaren's passing game has become a key predictor of the Bronchos' success: the team is 4-1 when his passer rating is 100 or higher, but only 0-4 otherwise. Bethany's leading receiver Seth Greiner was McLaren's top target yet again, picking up 164 receiving yards and one score, while also rushing for 31 yards and one touchdown.
Bethany's run defense was locked in: Tecumseh could only muster 2.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Malachi Chatman for the heroic effort on defense: he. Bethany's run defense has been on the up-and-up: they allowed 3.98 yards per carry earlier this season, but they've only allowed 6.87 on average over their last five games.
Bethany's defense didn't let Wyatt Dodgion, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Chase Clanton, Breck Brady, and Marcos Lopez, who each picked up one sack apiece. Another thorn in Tecumseh's side was Clanton, who picked up a sack, forced one fumble, and made five total tackles (3.0 for loss).
Despite the loss, Tecumseh still got an impressive performance from Dodgion, who threw for 286 yards and three TDs while picking up 11.9 yards per attempt, and also punched in one score on the ground. A healthy portion of Dodgion's aerial production (119 yards to be exact) went to Jekhi Owens.
Bethany's victory bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Tecumseh, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.
Bethany wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 57-0 win against Madill on the 7th. As for Tecumseh, they have also already played their next matchup, a 62-26 defeat against Ardmore on the 7th.
