Canyon barely beat Hereford the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Eagles were the clear victors by a 14-6 margin over the Whitefaces on Friday. Considering the Eagles have won 14 contests by more than five runs this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Canyon pushed their record up to 26-3-1 with the victory, which was their tenth straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Hereford, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 14-13-1 record this season.

Canyon will square off against Seminole at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Eagles 2.8, the Indians 2.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Hereford does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
