Picayune won against Pass Christian last Saturday with 62 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. The Picayune Maroon Tide blew past the George County Rebels 62-40. The Maroon Tide have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matches by 22 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Picayune and bumps their season record up to 11-13. As for George County, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-11 record this season.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Picayune and Pascagoula will face off at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday without much rest having both just played. As for George County, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Long Beach at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. George County is facing Long Beach at the right time seeing as Long Beach is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
