Fans got a thrill when Chase Carver and Hunter Brewer connected against Verdigris. The longest such play in 3A District 5 this season, the connection resulted in 56 yards.
Dewey's Jared Fink rumbled for the longest rushing play in the league this season in his game against the Cardinals last week. Fink ran for 73 yards on the play and finished with 229 on the day as his team bested Verdigris.
Fink was a force in the backfield as Dewey topped Tony Daniels' team.
Fink provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Chris Revard's team bested the Cardinals. Fink's key target this week was Brewer, who caught 3 passes for 92 yards.

Berryhill's TY WALKER and BRAYDEN BRADSHAW led 3A District 5 in both passing and receiving yards. WALKER has thrown for 1,164 yards this season, while BRADSHAW has 30 catches for 361 yards. Dewey's Fink leads the league in rushing yards with 1,352.
The top two teams in the league will face off this week when first place Metro Christian takes on second place Berryhill. Last week, Metro Christian bested Sequoyah, while the Chiefs topped Oklahoma City Legion.
Berryhill's CHAD DILLARD is a mere 100 yards away from breaking the 1,000-rushing-yards mark for the season. In 113 carries DILLARD has put up 900 yards this year.
Two of the top units in the league will face off this week when Pat Harper's team takes on Metro Christian. The Chiefs' offense has recorded 353 points this season, making them No. 1 in the league, while Jared Mccoy's team has permitted only 23 on the year.
