Even though the King George Foxes scored an imposing 62 points on Tuesday, the Caroline Cavaliers still came out on top. Caroline came out on top in a nail-biter against the Foxes and snuck past 65-62. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Caroline also won the last time the pair played back in January.
King George lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Eli Trulow, who scored 14 points along with six rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Trulow has scored all season. Aiden Wright was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with six rebounds.
The victory got Caroline back to even at 9-9. As for King George, they have been struggling recently as they've lost ten of their last 11 contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 3-14 record this season.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Caroline will stay at home for another game and welcome the Chargers at 6:30 p.m. on February 2nd. Chancellor is strutting with some offensive muscle, as they've averaged 59.8 points per game this season. As for King George, they will be playing in front of their home fans against the Yellow Jackets at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. James Monroe has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 1,354 points over their last 18 contests.
