Several Blue Devils players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Olivia Moe, who posted four points along with six boards and five steals. Moe is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed three or more in the last three games she's played.
Leading Reed-Custer to victory were Leah Grace and Alyssa Wollenzien. Grace went 6 of 7 en route to 14 points and five rebounds, while Wollenzien scored 12 points and three steals. Those 14 points gave Grace a new career-high.
Peotone's loss dropped their record down to 6-20. As for Reed-Custer, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Peotone will challenge Clifton Central at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Reed-Custer, they will face off against Coal City at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
