The Crossett Eagles will challenge the DeWitt Dragons at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.
Crossett's pitching crew heads into the game hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They put the hurt on Watson Chapel with a sharp 17-0 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won eight in a row.

Mckinnley Jackson was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. Those six strikeouts gave her a new career-high. She was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.
In other batting news, Crossett let Rylee Meeks and Gracie Kilcrease run wild. Meeks went a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, two doubles, and one stolen base, while Kilcrease went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, two doubles, and two RBI. That's the most runs Meeks has posted since back in March. The team also got some help courtesy of Beckham Hartley, who earned one RBI, three runs, and one stolen base.
Crossett was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .478. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.
The scorekeeper got an easy start on Tuesday as neither DeWitt nor Rison made it on the board until the sixth inning. The Dragons walked away with a 4-0 victory over the Wildcats.
Not much got past Khloe Llyod, who gave up just three hits and racked up eight Ks to keep Rison off the board.
At the plate, the team relied heavily on Harley Grammer, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.
DeWitt's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Crossett, their victory bumped their record up to 9-7.
