Everything went their way against the Liberty Indians as they made off with a 12-6 victory. Considering the Bulldogs' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.
Abby Haydt was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she struck out six batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits (and only one walk). Haydt was also big at the plate, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one double. Those two runs gave her a new career-high.
