Morales named Under Armour National Player of the Week

Deme Morales, a Wisconsin commit from Steele (Amherst, Ohio), has been named the Under Armour National Player of the week. The 5-foot-7 senior middle hitter had 34 kills, 13 aces, six blocks, 18 digs and 18 receptions in six games last week.

Morales has earned 1st and 2nd team all-Ohio awards and she was the most valuable player of her conference last season as a junior. Deme is featured on this year’s American Volleyball Coaches Association All-America watch list and has nabbed the AVCA player of the week award in Ohio twice already this season.
