Softball Recap: Centennial Makes It Three in a Row on the Road

Centennial barely beat Anoka the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Cougars' pitchers stepped up to hand the Tornadoes a 6-0 shutout on Thursday. The Cougars might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four games by six runs or more this season.

Centennial pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their third straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.7 runs on average over those games. As for Anoka, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-7.

Coming up, Centennial will take on St. Anthony Village at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Anoka, they will square off against Rocori at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
