St. Andrew's Episcopal's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Friday. They put the hurt on Pelahatchie with a sharp 10-0 win. The Saints haven't had any issues with the Chiefs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive victory against them.

Stone Myrick made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Those nine strikeouts gave him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate, scoring two runs while going 2-for-2.
In other batting news, Cash Myrick and Marco Leflore did most of the damage at the plate: Cash scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2, while Leflore went 2-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one RBI. Another player making a difference was Drew McDonald, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4.
St. Andrew's Episcopal was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .565. That was just more of the same: they've now posted a batting average of .318 or higher in eight consecutive matches.
Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Friday. Yazoo County was the clear victor by a 20-4 margin over Amanda Elzy.
Like St. Andrew's Episcopal, Yazoo County also got a great game from a two-way player: Cameron Williams. He looked comfortable on the mound, tossing two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Williams has been nothing but reliable: he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-2. He also brought in three RBI, marking his first of the season.
In other batting news, Yazoo County got a massive performance out of Will Andrews, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. That home run was Andrews' first of the season. Myron Straughter was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while going 3-for-4.
Yazoo County is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 15 games. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for St. Andrew's Episcopal, their victory bumped their record up to 16-6.
Saturday's contest might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. St. Andrew's Episcopal has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .463. However, it's not like Yazoo County struggles in that department as they've averaged .501. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
