Falcon can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent game on Thursday. They blew past Elizabeth 54-15 at home. With Falcon ahead 27-2 at the half, the matchup was all but over already.
Falcon got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Isabella Howard out in front who scored seven points along with seven rebounds and four steals. Another player making a difference was Macey Fothergill, who scored seven points along with six steals and five assists.
Meanwhile, Sierra had to suffer through a rough 75-15 loss at the hands of the Titans. Sierra was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 46-7.
Shetara Roebuck was Sierra's leading scorer, having posted eight points. Roebuck also led the team in rebounds with eight.
Falcon now has a winning record of 8-7. As for Sierra, their loss dropped their record down to 5-12.
Friday's matchup will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Fothergill and Roebuck. Fothergill has been dynamite this season: she has averaged 7.9 points, 5.8 steals, and 3.5 assists. For her part, Roebuck has averaged 13.6 points and 3.5 steals.
Everything came up roses for Falcon against the Stallions in their previous matchup back in January as the squad secured a 52-14 victory. With Falcon ahead 28-2 at the half, the match was all but over already.
