Andrean is 3-0 against Hanover Central since January of 2015, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Tuesday. The Andrean Fighting 59ers will be staying on the road to face off against the Hanover Central Wildcats at 7:00 p.m. on January 23rd. Andrean has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 320 points over their last five contests.
On Saturday, Andrean strolled past Highland with points to spare, taking the game 63-48. Given Andrean's advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Highland is ranked 301st), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Hanover Central can now show off four landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Saturday. They blew past Lake Station Edison 56-32. The victory was just what Hanover Central needed coming off of a 56-35 loss in their prior matchup.
Andrean is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 7-6 record this season. As for Hanover Central, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Andrean took their win against Hanover Central when the teams last played back in January of 2017 by a conclusive 66-46. The rematch might be a little tougher for Andrean since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
