Fairley had a senior duo take command as Brandon Chatman dropped a double-double on 21 points and 11 boards and Issac Wright Jr. went 9 of 15 to rack up 21 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Wright Jr. has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Alarin Polk, who posted six points and four steals.
Fairley's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 21-5. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 75.6 points over those games. As for Freedom Prep Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 9-13.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Fairley will venture away from home to take on Bluff City at 7:15 p.m. on Monday. Fairley knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past three games -- so hopefully Bluff City likes a good challenge. As for Freedom Prep Academy, they will head out to face off against Mitchell at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
