The Buffalo Bison waltzed into their game on Saturday with ten straight wins but they left with 11. They had just enough and edged Powell out 52-49. That's another feather in the cap for Buffalo, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
Tess Rule continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 19 points along with seven rebounds and six steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. Another player making a difference was Karly Davis, who scored 13 points.
Buffalo pushed their record up to 14-1 with that victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Powell, their loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-5.
Buffalo will head out on the road to square off against Douglas at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Douglas has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 893 points over their last 13 games. As for Powell, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Lyman at 4:30 p.m. Hopefully Lyman focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 15 on Friday.
