Basketball Recap: Parker-Tarrant Homeschool Takes Loss Despite Strong Performances from Timothy Jones and Holden Mcgarrah

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool was the 87-73 winner over Southwest Christian School when they last played one another back in December of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The game between the Warriors and the Eagles didn't end well, with the Warriors falling 75-56. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool had strong showings from Holden McGarrah, who dropped a double-double with 18 points and 13 boards, and Timothy Jones, who dropped a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds. Jones is also on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in each of the last six games he's played. Another player making a difference was Ikey White, who posted ten points.

Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool's loss dropped their record down to 6-4. As for Southwest Christian School, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming matchups. Parker-Tarrant HomeSchool will square off against Dunbar at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Southwest Christian School, they will face off against Trinity Christian at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The Eagles will need to watch out since the Trojans have now posted at least 55 points every time they've taken the court this season.
