The Yavneh Academy Bulldogs were the 68-52 winner over the Slidell Greyhounds when they last played one another back in December of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. Yavneh Academy took a serious blow against Slidell on Tuesday, falling 67-27. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Yavneh Academy has scored all season.
Yavneh Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Darren Sacher, who scored six points.
This is the second loss in a row for Yavneh Academy and nudges their season record down to 8-4. As for Slidell, their victory bumped their record up to 11-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Yavneh Academy will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Coram Deo Academy at 8:00 p.m. on January 9, 2024. Slidell will be home for the holidays to greet Gunter at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
