The Harlem Bulldogs were the 75-69 winner over the Academy of Richmond County Musketeers when they last played one another back in February of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. Harlem fell to Academy of Richmond County 62-56. Harlem has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Despite the loss, Harlem still got an impressive performance from Kee Williams, who scored nine points along with four steals. The team also got some help courtesy of JAYDEN FUTRELL, who scored 11 points along with seven rebounds.
Harlem has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 8-6 record this season. As for Academy of Richmond County, their win was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 12-3.
Harlem will be staying on the road on Tuesday to face off against Salem at 7:30 p.m. on January 16th. Salem knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four matchups -- so hopefully Harlem likes a good challenge. Academy of Richmond County won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Cross Creek at 3:00 p.m. on January 13th.
