McKinleyville won the last time they faced Eureka and things went their way on Saturday too. The Panthers were the clear victors by a 16-10 margin over the Loggers. The result was nothing new for the Panthers, who have now won five contests by six runs or more so far this season.

McKinleyville now has a winning record of 7-6. As for Eureka, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 0-9-1.

Coincidentally, McKinleyville and Eureka will both be playing Del Norte the next time they take the field. The Panthers will host the Warriors at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Loggers will head out to face them at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
