The Victory Christian Eagles were the 69-52 winner over the Lamar Raiders when they last played one another back in December of 2017, but their luck changed this time around. Victory Christian lost to Lamar on the road by a decisive 46-28 margin on Friday. Victory Christian's loss keeps them winless this season.
Lamar can attribute much of their success to Landon Pringle, who scored 19 points. Those 19 points set a new season-high mark for him. Caleb Randall was another key contributor, scoring eight points.
Victory Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 0-1. As for Lamar, their victory bumped their record up to 5-12.
Both teams will round out the year against one another at 1:15 p.m. on Friday at. Lamar's road trip will continue as they head out to face Victory Christian at 1:15 p.m. on December 29th.
