Adding to the longest winning streak in Mother Lode League this week, Calaveras beat Hughson 40-21. The victory was the sixth in a row for the Redskins.
Amador lost to Escalon 37-0 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Summerville's Brice Farrell and JT McCready led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-3 quarterback Farrell has thrown for 1,568 yards this season, while McCready has 26 catches for 526 yards. Calaveras' Mike Seawell leads the league in rushing yards with 1,192.
In 111 carries Caleb Patrick has put up 913 yards this year.
Jason Weatherby's team made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 5,356 from 5,763. The improvement was the result of a 40-21 victory over the Huskies last week.
