The Tonopah Muckers lost a heartbreaker when they last took the court, but unfortunately for them the loss they were handed on on Friday was a bit more commanding. They suffered a tough 43-19 loss at the hands of Indian Springs. Tonopah has not had much luck with Indian Springs recently, as the team's come up short the last two times they've met.
Indian Springs was led to victory by Oriyah Clay and Celina Pena. Clay dropped a double-double on 13 points and 11 rebounds, while Pena dropped a double-double on 15 points and 11 steals. Pena is crushing the steal category: she's posted at least four every time she's taken the court this season.
Tonopah's loss dropped their record down to 7-7. As for Indian Springs, their win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-3.
Tonopah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Indian Springs also has no future games currently scheduled.
