West Aurora can attribute much of their success to Harmony Rush, who scored 7 points along with 11 rebounds, and Niaelle Evans, who scored 14 points along with 7 rebounds. Brooklynn Johnson was another key contributor, scoring 8 points.
Meanwhile, Oswego East had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 22 points), and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They blew past Plainfield North 67-42.
The losses dropped West Aurora to 1-5 and Oswego to 1-7.
