Duchesne extended the longest winning streak in 1A - North this week by beating Altamont, 53-20. The victory was the 10th in a row for the Eagles.
Duchesne took down the Longhorns 53-20 last week, the largest margin of any game. Trent Roberts threw for 67 yards and 1 touchdown and ran for 114 yards during the win.
Jerry Cowan's team's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. On the ground Roberts chipped in 114 yards. Matt Muir helped Duchesne's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 24 yards.
Wyatt Remund was the best receiver in the league this week as the Eagles defeated Altamont. Remund racked up 1 reception for 28 yards. Muir helped Duchesne's passing attack out by catching 1 ball for 24 yards.
Duchesne's Roberts and Muir have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Roberts has thrown for 738 yards this season, while Muir has 11 catches for 300 yards. Wade Netto from Milford leads the league in rushing with 901 yards.
The Tigers' Netto needs only 99 yards against Kanab next week to surpass 1,000 rushing yards for the season. In 105 carries Netto has put up 901 yards this year.
Rich made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 6,521 from 6,947. The improvement was the result of a 48-21 victory over Diamond Ranch Academy last week.
