On Friday, The Westwood Cardinals got themselves on the board against the Ridgefield Park Scarlets, but the Ridgefield Park Scarlets never followed suit. They blew past the Scarlets 35-0 at home. The result was nothing new for Westwood, who have now won six contests by 21 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Westwood to victory, but perhaps none more so than Steve Klein, who rushed for 76 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries. The team also got some help courtesy of Robbie Carcich, who rushed for 16 yards and a touchdown.
Westwood's victory bumped their record up to 8-0. As for Ridgefield Park, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.
Westwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Ridgefield Park is also done with their season.
