The Morris Redskins put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their undefeated season alive. They came out on top against Sycamore by a score of 22-14. For Morris, this counts as revenge for the 28-0 loss Sycamore walked away with the last time they faced one another back in October of 2022.
Jacob Swartz continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 227 yards and a touchdown. Swartz is on a roll when it comes to rushing yards, as he's now rushed for 100 or more in the last six games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Jack Wheeler, who picked up 94 receiving yards and a touchdown.

They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 31 points. As for Sycamore, their loss ended a eight-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 8-1.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Morris will take on Tinley Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Tinley Park will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Illinois Rankings (they are ranked 283rd, while Morris is ranked tenth). As for Sycamore, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Evergreen Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
