This was payback for Wooster, who suffered a 53-51 defeat the last time these two teams met.
Brady Bowen was his usual excellent self, scoring 12 points along with eight assists. The matchup was his fifth in a row with at least ten points. Aidan Holford was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
Wooster pushed their record up to 5-5 with that win, which was their third straight at home. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.3 points per game. As for Madison Comprehensive, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-9.
Wooster will be playing at home against New Philadelphia at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison Comprehensive, they will head out on the road to face off against Mansfield Senior at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mansfield Senior is coming into the game hot, having won their last seven games.
