Westfield had won ten straight games and Carson Swanson did his part to make it 11 on Monday. The Westfield Wolverines strolled past the Brocton Bulldogs with points to spare, taking the game 72-57 thanks in part to Swanson, who dropped a triple-double on 39 points, 12 rebounds, and ten assists. His evening made it 34 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points.

Another player making a difference was Zach Maguire, who almost dropped a double-double on 13 points and nine boards. The dominant performance also gave him a new career-high in blocks (eight).

Westfield pushed their record up to 11-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Brocton, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.

Westfield will host Clymer Central at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Westfield knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past 12 games -- so hopefully Clymer Central likes a good challenge. As for Brocton, they are taking a road trip to challenge Forestville Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 22nd.
